Peru is a large country, and with its varied geography moving from one point to another can imply not only long hours of travel but also a risk that there is no connection between one destination and another.
To compensate for this problem, there are 19 airports in Peru situated in the main cities and destinations of interest which receive regular commercial flights and 22 other airports which receive charter and support flights. The main airlines in Peru are Lan Peru, and Star Peru. We prefer Lan Peru, but we may combine airline flight companies in the event that any segment of the itinerary cannot be completed by a single airline carrier.
LAN AIRLINES
The airline was established in July 1998 and began operations on July 2, 1999 with domestic services from Jorge Chavez International airport to Alejandro Velasco Astete International airport, Cusco and Rodriguez Ballon International Airport, Arequipa. The launch of LAN Peru marked the reappearance of a major national airline in Peru.
